ARCHON-Assisted Rehab Care Home of Nurturing Story
Project ARCHON – Assisted Rehab Care Home Of Nurturing was initiated by the Founder Director Dr. Rachna Kumar in 2008, to establish a state of the art facility for elder care and services. She felt an acute need for such a home, keeping in mind the many Seniors living alone as their children are abroad and also the disintegration of joint family creating an acute need as Seniors are living alone, facing insecurity and loneliness. Dr. Rachna, a physical therapist by training was also concerned with changing needs of Seniors as they age naturally, as this necessitated an Assisted home with care facility. While in US on a green card, she worked in several hospitals and studied international standards and quality of Assisted Home. She gave up her green card to give full-time to this project and now after 10 years, the project is undergoing final finishing.

New Sustainability
Since the last 14 years, we are distributing Computer Systems with special software for special children. The interactive special software is given away free of cost to students and school.
Outreach Assistance for a Senior Citizen
We provide outreach assistance to senior citizens living alone. This includes talking to them to sort out day to day issues, helping them to pay bills, checking out medical condition and helping them with care takers which also includes training.
Senior Citizen Home
ARCHON is a project in NCR Delhi to build a senior assisted living home in a pollution free and green environment. When fully established, it will cater to the needs of 100 senior citizens. It will be a specialized care home, where senior citizens who are dependent and need assistance will be given care

Ongoing Aid
Our current activities include establishing an Assisted Home for Seniors. We have already started the home with a capacity of 25 residents. However we require funds to develop 3 more floors so that we can extend the facility to 100 residents.
