Software for Mental Acceleration and Resource Training
Project SMART is a unique project initiated by our NGO in the year 2003, immediately after inception of our society. The idea was to develop Assistive Technology Aids in the form of educational software for Children with Special Needs. There is hardly any software available for CWSN and Special Children. The idea was to develop interactive software's so that the children with any disability could use easily. Teaming up with several partners across India, we developed many such IT based educational interventions. Next we started contacting institutions across the country, helping them get an old Computer (if they did not have one), giving them the software free of cost and then training their special educators. Our MOU with partner Institutions also involved research into the impact of the software's, and case studies of children using them.

IT based Educational Intervention for Children with Special Needs

- Money Transaction
- Numbers
- The story of two goats
- The shepherd’s story
- Dangerous objects
Many MOUs of ‘Partnership in Learning’ were signed with Institutions all over India to Implement Project SMART
A short term training Program was conducted by our team in partnership with National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), Government of India on “Development and the use of Teaching Learning Material for the children with Mental Retardation”
Conducted IT Abylimpics in partnership with Special Olympics Bharat at the Venue of Special Olympics Delhi State Mega Games
Educational Software and refurbished computers were given to the needy institutions
